# Network Field Engineer The Dabba Network is a **De**centralised **P**hysical **I**nfrastructure **N**etwork that is building high speed wireless networks from the ground up in India. We enable humans & machines with internet connectivity at a price that they can afford. Internet and WiFi are critical to every human. Dabba is building the software, hardware & operating solutions to make internet access ubiquitous & affordable. We design and manufacture our own hardware, develop the entire software stack, and manage our users’ network. Our Network Operations team is critical to meeting this expectation. The team is small but growing, and as an early member you will have a large impact in forming the foundation of the ops team and role. ### You will have impact by: * Working closely with engineers by providing feedback on firmware and software * Building a playbook for automating provisioning, installations and support * Monitoring the post-install setup at customers premise * Handling technical support for customers * Handling software & hardware upgrades in the field * Frontline debugging * Troubleshooting, debugging and resolving wireless, switching and other networking issues reported by customers * Partnering with Engineering and Product team to escalate and resolve critical bugs * Using technical experience to write internal and customer facing knowledge base articles * Documenting network changes * Acquiring and analysing wired and wireless packet captures to analyze root causes of issues ### You might be a good fit if you have: * 5+ years of experience in technical support * Designed complex network systems, security and implementation of routing, switching, and firewalls * Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols * Comfort with troubleshooting Linux based systems * Automation and scripting experience * A thorough understanding of computer networking fundamentals and WiFi * Proficiency in the following areas: Linux, Wireshark packet captures, basic bash or Python scripting * Strong attention to detail * The ability to effectively collaborate with various internal teams * Previous experience working with ISPs or TSPs ### If you are interested in joining us We encourage you to reach out even if your experience doesn't precisely match this job description.
