Community Manager

The Dabba Network is a Decentralised Physical Infrastructure Network that is building high speed wireless networks from the ground up in India. We enable humans & machines with internet connectivity at a price that they can afford.

Internet and WiFi are critical to every human. Dabba is building the software, hardware & operating solutions to make internet access ubiquitous & affordable. We believe every household should come with internet, networking, and WiFi; just like water, gas and electricity, the internet is a fundamental utility.

Unlike traditional internet solutions, Dabba's approach is vertically-integrated across engineering and operations. We design and manufacture our own hardware, develop the entire software stack, and manage our users’ network.

About the role

The Marketing team is responsible for driving Dabba's growth and brand affinity. The Marketing team works cross-functionally with sales, partnerships, product, ops, customer success, and design teams.

We are looking for someone to our voice on our social platforms such as Discord & Twitter. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help narrate our story & build our community ground up across all of our owned platforms and help drive new business and the adoption of Dabba's products and services.

You will have impact by:

  • Developing & executing Dabba's strategies to build a community from the ground up increasing awareness and trust

  • Owning and maintaining Dabba's social accounts

  • Create and curate engaging content to foster meaningful conversations and connections

  • Provide timely and helpful support to community members

  • Plan and execute online & offline events, webinars, and initiatives that engage the community and promote knowledge sharing

  • Moderate discussions and enforce community guidelines

  • Monitor and analyse community engagement metrics and provide regular reports

  • Creating and driving our SEO strategy to increase top of funnel awareness

  • Collaboration with other teams such as designing and editing, to ensure the creation of a cohesive brand message

You might be a good fit if you have:

  • You have excellent writing and communication skills

  • You are a conversationalist

  • You have 5+ years of experience in community building and management with a recent Web3 project

  • You have a proven track record of developing engaging content that drives business results across the funnel

  • Proficiency in social media platforms, community management tools, and analytics.

  • You demonstrate strong collaboration, decision-making, and communication skills

  • You are comfortable communicating technical content

  • You possess strong research skills and are naturally curious — you love learning new things and are excited to teach others new concepts

  • A genuine passion for the web3 industry

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines

Bonus points for

  • Understanding of blockchain and telecom ecosystem

  • Understanding of the current Crypto industry
